De KEIweek komt alweer steeds dichterbij en we zijn druk bezig om de KEIweek op Cleopatra zo spetterend mogelijk neer te kunnen zetten. Daarvoor hebben we onder andere drie geweldige bands voor jullie geregeld!
Dinsdag: Believeisadoubt!
Believeisadoubt’s music can best be described as energetic, refreshing rock, with powerful riffs. They may sound like an American band, but there are many twists that you won’t hear anywhere else. However, the influence of bands such as “The Foo Fighters”, “Incubus”, “Dredg” and “A perfect Circle” with a smattering of “Tool” and “Porcupine Tree” can be detected.
The band’s impressive CV is the result of hard work and determination. In December 2006 they reached an admirable third place in the final of the “Grolsch Grote Prijs” in The Netherlands. The jury rapport from this competition speaks of, “International potential”, “Convincing and complicated compositions” and “is different from the rest”. Over the last few years Believeisadoubt have played many acoustic as well as electric sets with most of their songs being suitable for both settings.
Woensdag: Jaya the cat!
Originating from Boston and currently based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Jaya the Cat play an uncompromising and original mix of reggae, punk rock and ska music. Founded through a mutual love of 60\'s and 70\'s dub and punk by three friends (Geoff Lagadec - vocals/guitar, Dave Smith - guitar/vocals and Ben Murphy - bass), Jaya The Cat create songs ranging from booze fueled anthems to chilled out dance tracks to outright political commentary.

Vrijdag: Estate Drama!
Estate Drama is a punkrock band which has developed tremendously the past year. This young band is full of ambitions and has the aspiration to let the people take notice! Estate Drama combines a healthy dose of rock and a punkrock sound not unlike Alkaline Trio and The Ataris. In the past year, the band managed to find their own sound, which is represented on their first effort, the ‘Landscape’s here.. wish you were beautiful’ EP. In 2007, Estate Drama got selected for the Freesonica project, which helps bands in becoming a more professional band. Little by little, the amount of shows increased and, most important, they got a lot better!
Kortom, meer dan genoeg reden om langs te komen! De bands beginnen om ongeveer 11 uur. Op dinsdag kun je na Believeisadoubt ook nog genieten van DJ Anzi en DJ Koen.
